I did a recipe for Strawberry-Rhubarb Lemonade a few weeks ago that called for creating strawberry lemonade ice cubes and pouring a lightly sweetened soda over them. I loved that sipper so much that I decided to do something similar with citrus fruit.
The best thing about this recipe is that you can have all the ingredients on-hand—both the ice cubes and soda store great for an extended amount of time—making it easy to pour one or a few anytime the mood strikes.
This recipe makes a slightly sweet drink—which is the way I like them—but play with it a little to see what level of sweetness works for you. Need to adjust it? Just add or cut the amount of honey. Easy.
