Caturday: Hello, Franklin and Louisa

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to do a kitten blog post considering during the first six weeks I had them (I got them mid-January), I collected over 100 photos. Seriously, I just counted. And those are just the ones I actually edited and saved. I don’t even want to know how many I actually took.

But it couldn’t be helped. These two little ones are the cah-yewwwtest ever.  Even the vet (and the vet’s assistant) said they were exceptionally cute. That was their professional opinion. What I’m trying to say is that it’s a medical fact that they are the cutest kittens on the planet.

Allow me to introduce you …

The one on the left is Louisa and on the right is my buddy Franklin. I always had cats growing up, but this is the first time I’ve had them as adults, and it cracks me up how they really do have their own little personalities.

Franklin is the more mischievous one.

His ear floofs are on point.

He is very comfortable in his own fur.

And he likes to art direct my food styling.

Louisa will go along with the mischief…

But she is a little more straight-laced, modest, and proper.

She’s also the caretaker of the two. And a very aggressive bather.

And she’s pretty good at the self-care thing, too. (She loves that purple blanket…she starts purring like a motorboat the second she steps on it.)

I basically spent the first six weeks trying to get them to not eat all my plants (and I did it!) and taking pictures of them sleeping…

Okay, that’s enough cute for this Caturday. I’ll be back with more soon!
